About Polly

Polly Klein, owner of Tonglen Healing Arts for Animals, is a nationally recognized animal communicator and healer. After completing her degree in Psychology with an emphasis on the connection between mind, body, spirit and health, Polly continued her postgraduate training at Bastyr University for CranioSacral Therapy and later received her certification as an Animal CranioSacral Therapist with Dr. Nancy Soliven. In 2013 Polly completed her National Boards for Small Animal Massage and became a licensed Small Animal Massage Practitioner. She received animal communication training from the Assisi Institute, and completed her advanced training with Penelope Smith in Point Reyes, California. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and conducts small-group Reiki training classes, and practices Reiki with large and small animals. She has been interviewed on Seattle TV station King5's Evening Magazine, Conscious Talk Radio, Dog Dish Radio and in the Seattle Times. She was also a featured speaker at the Northwest Women's Show. Polly is a consultant to veterinarians and dog trainers.

In addition to seeing private clients, Polly teaches Animal Communication and Reiki classes throughout the country. She also teaches for Bastyr University and The Northwest School of Animal Massage. Polly also has the pleasure to work with MercyVet Veterinary Hospital in surgical recovery providing energy work to their animal clients as they awaken from anesthesia. She also works with Erica Anderson (DVM) at Jet City Animal Clinic, in Seattle, WA. She sits on the board of the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage.

Polly’s earliest therapeutic practice was counseling families, where she focused her work on children living with cancer. Bringing this knowledge and training from her human counseling practice into her current healing work, Polly assists animals and their people with understanding and resolving the emotional and energetic components of their behavioral and health issues. Tonglen Healing Arts for Animals is based in Issaquah, Washington, where Polly lives with her her children, dogs, cats, parrot, pond of goldfish, and the occasional visiting goat.
